We want share one of our fav recipes, Pepper Chik-Un and Green Bananas 🤤 It's easy to make, and even easier to eat too much of.

3 tbsp olive oil
2 diced red bell peppers
1 diced red onion
1/2 tsp scotch bonnet or chili pepper
1 tbsp diced ginger
3 diced cloves garlic
1 bag of Kula BBQ Chik-Un
3 tbsp Pili Pili Sauce
3 tbsp tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 cup water
Salt to taste
3 boiled bananas ( best when they are green with brown spots)
6 cups water
Salt to taste
1. First, dice onion, garlic, ginger, and peppers
2. Heat oil and fry onion, garlic, ginger, and peppers for 5 mins
3. Add tomato paste, Pili Pili sauce, curry powder, thyme, and 2 tbsp water and cook for 5 mins
4. Add BBQ meats, stir, add salt to taste, and cook for another 5 mins
1. Slice ends of bananas off and cut in half
2. Boil water in a medium-size pot, add salt
3. Add green bananas and boil for 25 mins
4. Remove bananas from water, remove skin carefully, allow to cool
